How much are your DJ Services?
This will depend on the event date, number of hours and location of your event. We are happy to provide you with a quote. Simply connect to the contact page, send us a text message, give us a call or an email.
Will the DJ play requests?
This is an extremely popular question and one in which you define the answer! We can accept requests from all guests, or only a select group or from no one other than the person who has signed the contract. This can be a sensitive issue if you select no requests. We manage this in a very professional manner by informing the guest that the playlist has been predetermined in advance.
How will the DJ know what music to play for me and my guests?
During our initial consultation we will be asking you about your music preferences, which include your Must Play List and your DO NOT Play list. Our website and client login will have song lists to get you started. We will be building your custom playlist and will also advise you on songs that really help get the party started and keep going strong throughout your event. DJ John E Rox has been in the entertainment business for decades so reading the crowd and watching the interaction can be determined within minutes. This requires him to react and make changes quickly. Since we already know your preferences from our pre-event communication, we know the lane to stay in for a wonderful time.
Will the DJ play overtime upon request?
T
Yes, we are flexible and will honor requests to exceed our contracted hours. Overtime rates will be discussed during our initial consultation and in our contract. Payment for overtime would need to be paid in cash, check, Venmo or PayPal on-site at the event.
Will the DJ be set up prior to the event?
Yes, we plan to arrive 2 – 3 hours prior to the event to set up, sound test and be ready to go. This is included in your complete package pricing.
We have a guest that wants to sing, play music, or give a speech during the event. Is that going to be a problem?
Not at all. This is your event, and we can accommodate any of your special requests.
